Job Summary Software Development Engineer to join our outstanding Automation Software Development Team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with the ability to work comfortably on both individual- and team-oriented projects.
Responsibilities Architecture design and development of machine control software used in automated machine solutions. Translate general, possibly vague, product requirements into definition, architecture and design for complex systems. Participate in definition, scope, subsystem breakdown, preparation of specifications and project scheduling. Exercise judgment within broadly-defined guidelines in recommending and selecting methods, techniques and tools for software projects.
Qualifications Candidate must be proficient in theoretical and practical aspects of software development, architecture design, hardware/software design, specification, implementation and test.
Education/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years' Windows Programming experience in either or all of the following: PC Based Control Systems, SCADA systems, Windows Programming using Microsoft Visual Studio, strong .Net knowledge, Object Oriented Development experience and mechanical aptitude.
